Message of the Week

These messages are meant to be a gift, to touch someone. I am always amazed how when I write about a topic (usually inspired by something going on in life) that so many people write back asking how I knew what they were going through and needed to hear. I believe that is because as human beings we are all dealing with the same challenges and fears as anyone else. The circumstances may look different, but we are all experiencing the same thing. And we all need to be reminded that Optimism makes a big difference.

Pessimists Beware on...

Self-Expressions' Birthday

...On Self-Expression's Birthday

I love birthdays in general, but today is a VERY special birthday for me. It is a birthday of self-expression. While Pessimists Beware messages first took shape in 1999, February 22, 2003 was the day www.pessimistsbeware.com was born. When that happened, a huge part of the passion and purpose that lived within me finally lived outside of me. It has been a joy to have this vehicle of self expression exist in the world. Thank you for being a part of that.

What passion and purpose lives inside you that you can give birth to?

A very special thank you to Dave Love and Barbara Remik for making this birthday possible.
